TREND FORECASTING

The project allowed me to focus greatly on current key drivers surrounding global warming and the environmental pressure that ecosystems are facing.  

This research then led me to the creation of my A/W 17 trend ‘Extinction’, where I explored the different materials, shapes, colours and textures that would be at the core of the trend.
The trend reflects the pressure that animals and wildlife are facing due to the damaging effects of humankind. It acknowledges and respects the beauty running throughout ecosystems around the globe and visually expresses the importance of caring for and maintaining our environment and life of animals on the earth.
